To introduce myself, I am a native of Brazil. For the past 20 years, I have been helping children in the US develop their skills by teaching them the fundamental and technical aspects of the game of soccer.
In 1993, I had the opportunity to be a part of two importants events in the United State;
The first one was "Soccer Blast: USA Legends of Soccer" tour, where I had the opportunity and privilege to work with reputable players such as Desmond Armstrong and Michelle Akers Stahl, both from the US national team at the time. Hundreds of children ages 8-16 came to improve their knowledge and skill. The second was the US CUP '93, where I had the honor to work with the American and Brazilian National teams.
In 1996, I helped establish the Valrico Soccer Club. In 1999 I move on to create The Players Club of Tampa Bay, Inc., a youth soccer organization totaly dedicated to soccer development, so much so that the US Soccer Development Acadmey granted us with the membership. In 2008 I had the privilege to be chosen by the board of directors of FishHawk Youth Sports Association, to establish the FishHawk Soccer Club In Lithia, Fl.
My commitment to the community goes far beyond the Pitch. Since 2006, I have planned and organized soccer tours to Brazil, where youth American athletes have the opportunity to participate in a social & cultural soccer exchange program.
I feel very strongly that we should take advantage of a child's innate ability to learn while at the same time teaching them the beauty of the game of soccer.
